Blue Hana Goby, also known as Blue Gudgeon Dartfish, is a marine fish with the scientific name Ptereleotris hanae.
It lives in the western Pacific Ocean and is found in reefs at depths of 9.8 to 164 feet, usually no less than 20 feet deep.
This fish stays in burrows made by alpheid shrimp but doesn’t interact with them, unlike Amblyeleotris gobies that live together with these shrimp.
Blue Hana Gobies are generally found near rubble and sand close to reefs and are often seen living in pairs within the same burrow.
They primarily feed on zooplankton in the wild and are safe for coral reef environments.
